We are 14 year old girls from Cyprus and we will start organizing different events so that we can raise money for "The Golden Hat". (e.g bakesale). We will also try to inform people about this organiztion, by sending out e-mails and by making presentations in school. We have got 1 whole year starting from today, to raise $1,000. Please help us, so that we can help others.

So thrilled to be able to give back to such a great cause--helping educate the world about how intellectual people with autism are. Will you help me reach my goal to support the Golden Hat Foundation?
I would like to make a difference in their lives...join me today and wear a golden hat, too!!!http://social.goldenhatfoundation.org/

My son, Kross, has taught me more about life...and people, love...and compassion, pain...and hope, than any life experience HAS or COULD HAVE ever taught me. My eyes are open, the world looks different, and I have been Re-defined because of this beautiful boy. I love you Kross.
I am having a dinner party with unbelievable food!!!! I am charging $100/ couple. Please consider attending. I am going to serve turkey and potatoes.
Joey is our little angel.
He does not lie, he does not judge, and does not play mind games.
This world is a tough place for someone like Joey to navigate through.
We wonder everyday "What would Joey do?" when we are no longer able to take care of him.
Please donate and help Golden Hat Foundation build a living, learning and training faciility for people with autism!

I am going to raise $500 by walking 12.4 miles (20 km) on Saturday, October 6th for the Golden Hat Foundation. I will be walking around Lady Bird Lake (Town Lake Trail) 3 times. I may need to stop and rest and eat of course, but will be on the trail until I finish. I want to show that people with autism are capable, capable of helping a cause that is worthy. Capable of being educated. Capable of having public responsibilities. Capable of being an important part of our society. Please help me reach my goal. A goal that I can not do on my own, but one that I can make sure happens.
Imagine if you were not able to talk...express your feelings...say your wants and needs...convey your thoughts...tell people what you know...your ideas...your desires...your hopes...your dreams...imagine you are trapped in your body with a perfectly capable and smart mind but your body will not let you talk or move in the right way to show what you know...your body will not let you write. Imagine. This is our son.
"I wish I could learn how to talk. I have so much to say."
